I opted for the customized barong for my husband and we are both happy with how it turned out. The barong fits my hubby perfectly and guests, Filipinos and foreigners complimented the design, material and craftmanship. I also love how fast it was delivered to our place. I was a little bit skeptical about the delivery timeline but it came a week ahead of our wedding day. Kudos to the whole team!

Nice and beautiful dress but I've a lot of issues as to the custom tax and packaging.
I paid extra for the custom size product but it was not followed as I expect. I had to do a repair on the dress length which means another expensive payment. The dress is long for me for my short height. Also, the packaging was not as safe from damage or dirt. I expect that it will be placed inside a clear plastic before placed in the DHL delivery plastic. In addition, I paid almost Php 16,000 Indonesian custom fee whereas in Phils your company only paid Php 300, if I'm not mistaken. The weight of the parcel was not shown in the packaging since the paper with the delivery details apart from the address was folded; therefore, the Indonesian custom asked for additional info of the total price of the dress. Too expensive including the dress.

Barong World delivered a high quality barong. It fit well since I followed their measuring directions. I added a Rush Order for it but never came on time as promised. However, their team was quick to reply with my questions and concerns.
I find this place to be very accommodating, they are very helpful. My wife has concerns. I love the design of the dress, the material is nice and elegant. Our order was placed online, but the people we contacted were helpful in answering our questions.

Overall this is a lovely piece of barong, The quality and the finish is made to perfection. The last button on the collar should have been finish with an elastic thread for comfort but otherwise it's a good looker!
The medium size is for my husband, and it fits him well. He likes the style and the organza cloth. I cannot give comments yet to the customized barong. It's for my brother who lives far away from me, so I still have to mail it. I hope it fits him well, and I hope, he will like it. Thank you.

Pro: Affordable, decent fabric - not stiff or scratchy. I like the full length button front. Not overly styled. Nicely understated without being pedestrian. Good enough to wear at a traditional formal Filipino occasion.
Cons: I'm 5'10" 165 lbs - so I am between med and large. Based on the sizing chart, ordered a med. Chest could be about 1/2" bigger. Body length could also 1/2" longer. Sleeve length - may be 1/2" short. . Shoulder width - maybe 1/2" short. Just a touch smaller all around. The plastic mother of pearl button insert came off on one them. Altogether, nothing was a deal breaker. I do think the size chart is a little overstated (by maybe an inch too generous).
