I was not expecting much but the alampay exceeded my expectation. The fabric is good, the color is the same as in the picture and the embroidery is good quality. Overall it is excellent , however, since it is one size, I hope it is a little bigger because the ends barely meet in the middle for me.

Beautifully detailed barong, hard to tailor

The barong was beautiful, however the sleeves were too long. We took it to a seamstress and she said it was very difficult to work with the material and the alteration to shorten the sleeves was more than the cost of the garment. I hoped we could size down to get a shorter sleeve, however the three smaller sizes had the same sleeve length. Ultimately we have to return and are getting a short sleeve barong instead. If I had to do it over again I would have ordered a custom barong much earlier.
