New arrivals in Filipiniana and barong tagalog
This is where our newest pieces land first. They sit here for a few weeks before moving into whichever permanent collection they belong to. Right now it leans towards the SF line of premium Filipiniana. There are also a few barongs in fabrics we have not carried before.
New pieces arrive in small runs. If something here catches your eye, it is worth ordering early even when your event is months away. A first run does not always come back.
New for women
The SF line is the biggest recent addition. It moves Filipiniana towards shapes you would recognise from any formal wardrobe, while keeping the butterfly sleeve.

Midi dresses
The easiest to wear again. Isabella SF001, Celestine SF002 and Celeste SF009.

Gowns and sets
Amara SF006 for full length, or Florence SF005 as a two-piece you can split up afterwards.

Shorter cuts
For receptions and debuts rather than church. Gabrielle SF003 and Rosalie SF004.

Traditional
Not everything new is modern. Victoria BW017 is a full Maria Clara set with shawl and brooch.
New for men
Fewer pieces, but they are the ones we are most pleased with. Francis SN014 is a piña cocoon coat with hand-cut calado and a matching vest, which is about as formal as a barong gets. Louie BW016 goes the other way: a boxy cropped organza cut for men who want the fabric without the traditional silhouette.

What tends to arrive, and when
Our production runs follow the calendar of Filipino events rather than a fashion season. Wedding pieces appear through the first half of the year. Graduation shapes cluster around February and March, and heavier formal gowns arrive before the December party season. Handwoven fabrics from Ilocos and the Cordillera come in whenever the weavers finish a batch, which is unpredictable by nature and worth watching for.
New fabrics worth knowing about
Hydra gazaar is the one you will see most across the SF line. It is a stiff, faintly textured cloth that stands away from the body. That is why the corset bodices in this range hold their shape without heavy boning. Tulle appears as an overlay rather than a base, adding volume without weight.

Size and fit
New pieces are made to order like everything else, so send your measurements rather than a size guess. Structured bodices are less forgiving than a loose barong, so this matters more on the SF line than on a classic cut.
Philippine sizing runs smaller than American or Australian sizing, often by a full size. If two sizes look close, ask about custom fitting rather than rounding up.

How often does this page change?
Whenever a new run reaches us. There is no fixed schedule, so it is worth checking every few weeks.
Will a new style stay in the catalogue?
Usually, if it sells. First runs are small, though, and some designs do not come back.
Are new pieces more expensive?
Not by default. Price follows fabric and the amount of handwork, not how recently we added it.
Can I order a new piece in a custom colour?
Ask us. Colour changes depend on what fabric is available in that run. Contact us before ordering.
How long until it arrives?
Made-to-order pieces need production time before shipping. See our shipping page for current timelines.
Where do these end up afterwards?
In their permanent collection, such as modern Filipiniana or Filipiniana long gowns.
