I really like the style of the barong. It fits nicely on me. I was hesitant at first cause I don't usually buy clothes online due to the fact that I can't try it on first and see if it fits. But the Barong World size chart really are on the spot in terms of getting the right for dress for you. One thing that's a negative though is that the buttons around the chest area on my Golden Beige Barong Coat pops out every time I kinda stretch my arm. Even if it's just a tiny stretch the buttons always pop out. We noticed that the button holes are kinda big for the buttons but regardless I still like the barong. Highly recommended for any formal or wedding events.
I ordered the "Ultimate Groom & Groomsmen" Package for my wedding in June of 2022. Sadly I did not allocate enough time for the production/shipping, but their customer service support did everything they could to speed up production and kept me in the loop about everything. Although I didn't get to wear them for my ceremony, when I did receive them I was beyond impressed by the quality and beauty of the barongs. I'd definitely recommend buying from this website, but would encourage anyone to buy well in advance of when they are needed. An honest 5/5!
This is the first time we ordered anything customized/tailored so we were a little nervous the measurements we took might be off. However, Barong World created the PERFECT barong tagalogs for the groom and best men! We also bought a custom barong dress for the bride which is beautiful and again a perfect fit. We can't wait to debut these tailored pieces at the wedding and honor the Filipino tradition! A million thanks to the Barong World team for contributing to our big day!
