Pinilian fabrics are often used to create traditional Filipino garments, including barongs, blouses, and skirts. The fabric is made pangablan (as called in Ilocano). Pinilian means "hiwalay" or “divided” to the grid or checkerboard design of the weave.

This Barong is stunning! My husband normally wears 1XL American so we ordered 2XL in the Barong and it fit with room. He probably could fit the 1XL but the 2XL gives him a little room for dancing and moving around a lot. Details and material is PERFECT. It’s a short sleeve Barong and looks great.
